This architectural interior redesign began by opening up the formerly separate dining room to the living room with a new 7 ft. wide door opening. This opening is also placed on axis with the existing fireplace. Another new door opening similarly opens the living room up to a redesigned entry hall. Existing trim has been replaced with new traditionally styled door and window casing, entablatures, base and a large crown molding. Also, the fireplace surround has been enlarged to create a stronger focal point for the now enlarged space.
